Thorough Assessment and a Clear Care Pathway

It can be hard to know where to turn with a musculoskeletal condition: pain, limited movement, or an injury that needs attention, without a clear sense of what comes next. Our multidisciplinary triage clinic in Calgary reviews every referral and directs each patient to the right care pathway from the outset.

You do not need to know which service you need. Our triage team assesses your referral and books you with the most appropriate clinician for your condition, whether that’s orthopaedics, physiatry, pain management, or another member of our team.

Our triage physicians work closely with our full multidisciplinary team to coordinate your care and determine the most appropriate next step.

Meet Your Triage Team

Our triage physicians review each referral and direct patients to the most appropriate care pathway.

What to Expect

Once we receive your referral, our team reviews it and books you with the most appropriate clinician for your condition. Diagnostic imaging is not required before your referral is submitted.

At your assessment, a member of our multidisciplinary team will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms, and conduct a physical examination. On-site diagnostic imaging can be arranged when needed.

You will leave your appointment with a clear diagnosis or clinical impression, a personalized treatment plan, and a transparent next step, whether that’s physiotherapy, pain management, interventional procedures, or a surgical referral.

Please note: A referral is required for a triage assessment.
