Matt Carter

Dr. Matt Carter received his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with Honours at the University of Calgary in 2018. He earned his medical degree from the Calgary Cumming School of Medicine in 2021 and subsequently completed his post graduate residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Albert. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Prior to his medical career he was a member of the Canadian National Alpine Snowboard Team. His experience in high-performance sport continues to shape his clinical philosophy; he finds particular fulfillment working within multidisciplinary teams and is passionate about helping patients restore function and return to the activities that define them. His professional interests include outpatient musculoskeletal medicine, ultrasound-guided procedures, and electrodiagnostic medicine.
