Taryn Ludwig

Dr. Ludwig obtained her MD/PhD from the University of Calgary and completed Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Calgary. She then completed spine surgery fellowships, first the Neurosurgical & Orthopaedic Spine Fellowship at the Vancouver General Hospital and then the Combined Spine Fellowship in her hometown of Calgary. Dr. Ludwig maintains an active research career with experience ranging from basic science to surgical education projects. She is currently pursuing a research fellowship with the goal of streamlining care for patients with metastatic spine disease. Outside of work, Dr. Ludwig enjoys keeping up with her young family and dog and spending as much time outside as possible.
