Dr. Matejko graduated with commendation from the Wroclaw Medical University where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree. He subsequently completed his Family Medicine residency training at the University of Calgary where he also took part in the Masters of Kinesiology Program.

Dr. Matejko has worked at Access Orthopedics since 2021 with a focus on musculoskeletal medicine and orthopedic surgical triage. He has worked collaboratively alongside the team at Access Orthopedics to assess and manage upper and lower extremity conditions providing comprehensive musculoskeletal consultations and supporting appropriate surgical triage. His clinical approach emphasizes evidence-based care, patient education, and collaborative management to support pain, performance, and functioning.

Alongside practice at Access Orthopedics, Dr. Matejko maintains a full-scope family practice in Calgary, Alberta, where he values building long-term relationships and supporting continuity of care with his patient panel.

Dr. Matejko previously competed internationally in alpine skiing and following retirement from the sport he coached high performance ski racing for 5 years. Outside of the clinic Dr. Matejko enjoys spending time skiing in the mountains and fly fishing in the river valleys.
